CHERYL MARIE JAMES died at the now infamous Deepcut Army barracks in Surrey on November 27th 1995. Just five weeks after her 18th birthday.
We dearly want for Cheryl’s life to have made a difference and this Fund is intended to be a genuine celebration of the happiness Cheryl brought us and to enable her friends, her family and anyone touched by her story, to make a donation in support of the magnificent work of Hope House.
Hope House in Oswestry and Ty Gobaith in Conwy - provide practical and emotional support to families facing the pain of losing a child. It costs £4 million a year to run both hospices and they rely almost entirely upon donations.
If you knew Cheryl, you understand how excited she would have been by this initiative, how enthusiastic she would have been to help the children of Hope House.

Mothering Sunday. Thinking of Mum, (Granny) on this special day. xxx Remembering happy times Cheryl.
This donation for Hope House children is made in memory of GEORGIE POWELL. - a young man, the son of a dear friend, who departed this life far too soon at the age of 21. For us, he will be remembered for his kindness to animals and the voluntary work he so enjoyed at Hope House.
